Once you have crafted a Faction Lockbox, you need the right tool to open it. The Diffusion Drive is a specialized hideout module, and the Diffusion Drive Core NFTs are the reusable keys that turn on its engine.

What is a Diffusion Drive?

The Diffusion Drive is a new hideout module built for the sole purpose of unlocking Faction Lockboxes. To power the Diffusion Drive, you must insert a Diffusion Drive Core, which is a capital asset; it is never consumed. You can remove it from the Drive and sell it on an external marketplace at any time, making it a tradable piece of economic infrastructure.

Obtaining a Diffusion Drive Core:

You can get it only buy buying it from Engines of Fury, obtaining in external marketplaces, or getting rewarded for reaching No 1 rank in monthly leaderboard (combined points of 4 weeks).

Power Requirements:

Be aware that the Diffusion Drive consumes a significant amount of power. Keeping your hideout's Generator upgraded and carefully planning your Glob of Fuel usage (or buying it for $FURY in Trading Station) is essential for continuous operation. This adds a resource management layer to your economic strategy.

Tiers of Efficiency:

There are three different tiers of Diffusion Drive Cores available, allowing you to unlock one, two, or three Faction Lockboxes simultaneously, while the unlocking time remains the same - 18 hours for one lockbox. This creates a clear path for vertical progression in your economic efficiency.
